SE PONY É um projeto colaborativo com o objetivo de criar uma linguagem entre duas linguagens e estéticas completamente diferentes. Juntos, João e Moss manipulam um híbrido entre a música improvisada e o techno, apresentando um set improvisado cheio de comunicação e micro-decisões em tempo real. João Gato Saxofonista, improvisador e criador de música, João Gato encontra-se ativo nas áreas do Jazz, free Jazz, música improvisada e híbridos. Depois de estudar com Ricardo Toscano na Escola de Jazz Luís Villas Boas (Hotclub), ingressou na licenciatura em Saxofone Jazz na ESML, onde estudou com Gonçalo Marques, Afonso Pais, Nélson Cascais, Pedro Moreira e Desidério Lázaro. Completou a licenciatura em 2021, ingressando em 2023 no Nordic Composer Musician Master – Master’s in performance, um mestrado conjunto do Rhythmic Music Conservatory (Copenhaga), Norwegian Academy of Music (Oslo) e Academy of Music and Drama (Gotemburgo), onde é orientado por Peter Bruun, Lotte Anker e Kasper Tranberg. Lidera o projeto Apophenia, que já se apresentou em Berlim, Bruxelas, Antuérpia, Eindhoven e cujo album de estreia “Protzeler” foi nomeado para o prémio PLAY 2023 de melhor album de Jazz. Integra o projeto SE Pony, Parrinha+Gato, Não Confundir Com e Coletivo Teto. Saxophonist, improviser and music creator, João Gato is active in the areas of Jazz, Free Jazz, improvised and hybrid music. After studying with Ricardo Toscano at the Luís Villas Boas Jazz School (Hotclub), he enrolled in a degree in Jazz Saxophone at ESML, where he studied with Gonçalo Marques, Afonso Pais, Nélson Cascais, Pedro Moreira and Desidério Lázaro. He completed his degree in 2021, entering in 2023 the Nordic Composer Musician Master – Master’s in performance, a joint master’s degree from the Conservatory of Rhythmic Music (Copenhagen), Norwegian Academy of Music (Oslo) and Academy of Music and Drama (Gothenburg), where he is guided by Peter Bruun, Lotte Anker and Kasper Tranberg. He leads the Apophenia project, which has already been presented in Berlin, Brussels, Antwerp, Eindhoven and whose debut album “Protzeler” was nominated for the PLAY 2023 prize for best Jazz album. It is part of the SE Pony, Parrinha+Gato, Não Confusir Com and Coletivo Teto projects. Moss Kissing DJ, ambient artist, tatuador e manipulador de eletrónicas, Moss Kissing encontra-se ativo não só na esfera musical mas também na dança e performance. Originalmente do Reino Unido, Moss realizou várias tournées europeias onde tocou a solo um set improvisado e eclético, que junta techno, house, field recording e industrial music. Juntamente com a coreógrafa Inês Zinho, dirige o projeto multidisciplinar Sonic Voyaging, um coletivo de criação performática de dança e música improvisada. Lançou em 2023 o LP “Pass through” na editora Vilamar Records, apresentado posteriormente em Berlim e em Bruxelas DJ, ambient artist, tattoo artist and electronics manipulator, Moss Kissing is active not only in the musical sphere but also in dance and performance. Originally from the United Kingdom, Moss went on several European tours where he played solo an improvised and eclectic set, combining techno, house, field recording and industrial music. Together with choreographer Inês Zinho, he directs the multidisciplinary project Sonic Voyaging, a collective creating performative dance and improvised music.
