next friday on the 10th we're returning to Cosmos Campolide for another evening of shimmering ambience with concerts by London-based mu tate and Lisbon-based Van Der.

◌ mu tate exists on the noisy dubbed-out fringes of what can loosely be described as ambient. With recent releases on utter and 3xl as well as a library of self-released titles, his music employs familiar images with a diffused style of psychedelia and vaporous afterimages of club music lingering in a post-party etherglow.
◌ Based on the outskirts of Lisbon, Vanderley Neves a.k.a. Van Der has been in the electronic music scene for some time now, first with a focus on House and Techno with is former collective, Escuro, and later as a selector and a producer with an interest in modular synthesis and exploratory music which culminated in having worked at the modular synthesizers shop, Patch Point. Recently, he's been invited by Reif, a collective that was born between Berlin, Paris and São Paulo, idealized by Portuguese artist Marcelo Alcaide. Vanderley is also the founder of Sub-Series, a multifaced platform that recently showed up in the capital, focused on bringing an eclectic selection of electronic music artists.
