We're back with a brand new tour!
This time around we will be back to the banks of the Douro, we will to explore the narrow lanes between old estate houses that eventually came to be known as Caminhos do Romântico, while alongside we insert the second thread in our narrative, and that is the "business of the sea", we want to address how Massarelos and its people changed the course of Portuguese history!
Nevertheless, being an Architectour, we will unravel one of the most unexpected buildings or set of buildings you find in the city: the Faculty of Architecture. Let's discover how it came to be, how it came to be there and explore Siza's creative process! Finally, we will try to have a glimpse of how the new bridge will thoroughly transform the cityscape of the area forever. Not to mention the best sunset in the city! Will you be joining us?

Price: €10 (it's free for children) -
Length - 3,0km (circular) - despite onethird of the tour being uphill this is not demanding, however, most of these old streets are cobbled and slanted and there are a few steps, so bringing a pram might be a little tricky.
