Want to improve your Portuguese?
Do you suspect there may be more fun methods outside the standard classroom?
We're forming a Portuguese learning group with the intention of learning Portuguese through play. That could be a Portuguese karaoke session, or Portuguese word Jenga? or it could just be a simple in-person role play that gets you out of your comfort zone?
Myself (Luke Brennan) and my Portuguese teacher when I arrived here from Ireland four years ago (Filipa Baptista) would like to help you find all that is fun in the Portuguese language, introducing you to the depth of culture behind it, while helping you contribute to your new cultural environment by investing in it's language.
This is a real world event and chance to step away from the internet in a warm social environment. It is is a free event, encouraging human to human interaction.
All levels are welcome, as are native Portuguese speakers who feel they would like to help out.
