Projeção de "Gyuri", de Mariana Lacerda

Nos 30 anos da demarcação da terra indígena, o povo Yanomami encontra-se em situação crítica, pelos diversos ataques do garimpo ilegal na Amazónia brasileira. Claudia Andujar, sobrevivente judia da Segunda Guerra, exilou-se no Brasil, dedicando a vida à salvaguarda deste povo, que a acolheu.  Esta ligação, que tem em comum a luta pela sobrevivência, está presente no documentário Gyuri, da diretora pernambucana Mariana Lacerda e que será projetado no auditório da Biblioteca Municipal Almeida Garrett, no próximo dia 19 de setembro, às 19h00.  
O momento contará ainda com uma conversa entre a realizadora e o filósofo húngaro Peter Pál Pelbart. A moderação ficará a cargo da filósofa e investigadora Susana Caló.

Thirty years after the demarcation of the indigenous land, the Yanomami people are in a critical situation, threatened by the various attacks of illegal mining in the Brazilian Amazonia. Claudia Andujar, a Jewish survivor of the Second World War, went into exile in Brazil, dedicating her life to safeguarding this people, who welcomed her.  This connection, which has in common the struggle for survival, is present in the documentary Gyuri, by Pernambuco director Mariana Lacerda, which will be screened in the auditorium of the Biblioteca Municipal Almeida Garrett, on 19 September, at 7pm. 
The event will also include a talk between the director and Hungarian philosopher Peter Pál Pelbart. The moderator will be philosopher and researcher Susana Caló. 
To attend the screening, the free ticket must be collected (maximum 2 per person) up to 15 minutes before the event starts.
