Lavrar o Mar apresenta na Vilarinha (concelho de Aljezur) um autêntico teatro feito de palha. Tomando “o espírito do lugar” que acompanha o trabalho de Pedro Quintela, o arquitecto criou uma escultura habitável efémera, inspirada na geometria sagrada da concha de nautilus e na forma da orelha humana.
Entre 25 de Junho e 17 de Julho contamos com uma programação artística a céu aberto de música, cinema, novo circo, dança e ainda uma mostra com uma seleção das melhores fotografias de João Mariano para nos reavivar, através do seu olhar, a memória dos seis anos de vida do Lavrar o Mar.
Além disso, o senhor Valentim e senhor Vicente, que nos recebem no seu terreno terão o seu forno de lenha aceso…
Um programa de verão pensado para passar as noites quentes da melhor maneira: a dançar ao som de dj sets exóticos e psicadélicos de latitudes austrais; a desfrutar de concertos que vão do rock ao afrobeat e do tango ao jazz; a assistir a filmes sentados confortavelmente em fardos de palha num maravilhoso cinema ao ar livre; a deixar-nos encantar por performances fantásticas de novo circo, de mastro chinês e muito mais!
NOTA: Pedimos a todos os espectadores que tragam uma almofada ou uma pequena manta para se sentarem por cima dos fardos de palha.

Lavrar o Mar presents in Vilarinha (municipality of Aljezur) an authentic theatre made of straw. Based on “the spirit of the place” that accompanies the work of Pedro Quintela, the architect created an ephemeral habitable sculpture, inspired by the sacred geometry of the nautilus shell and the shape of the human ear.
Between June 25th and July 17th, we will have an open-air artistic programme of music, cinema, new circus, dance and even an exhibition with a selection of the best photographs of João Mariano to revive our memories of the six years of Lavrar o Mar's life through his lens.
In addition, Mr. Valentim and Mr. Vicente, who welcome us to their land, will have their wood oven lit…
A summer programme designed to spend the warm nights in the best way: dancing to exotic and psychedelic dj sets from southern latitudes; enjoying concerts ranging from rock to afrobeat and from tango to jazz; watching movies sitting comfortably on straw bales in a wonderful open-air cinema; being enchanted by fantastic performances of new circus, Chinese pole and much more!
NOTE: We ask all spectators to bring a pillow or a small blanket to sit on top of the straw bales.
