Sander Markey ('Markey)
Originates from Ostend Belgium.
His life has been about exploring and collecting different kinds of music.
His record and digital collection is vast and stretches back far in time.
At the age of thirteen (end of the nineties) he joined a local punk band were he took care of the vocals.
At sixteen he got inspired by the underground house sound and decided to start Dj-ing.
He spent most of his youth In gent (Belgium) were the electronic music scene was flourishing at that time.
There he had several residences in local clubs + hosting monthly nights in Make up club.
Also he hosted the weekly Radio show called ''House your body'' with two friends on the radio station urgent.fm (gent) He played in Belgian clubs like Cafe D'anvers, Decadance and H2o.
After eight years of Ghent one weekend in Berlin got him hooked and he moved there soon after.
There he started the project ''Robyns & Markey'' with his friend ''Yannick Robyns'' and his Solo project as ''Markey''. He has been active ever since.
In Berlin, Markey has played in venues like ''KaterHolzig'', ''Chalet'', ''Tresor'' and ''Golden Gate'' and also several other locations.
Also he has been playing around Europe.
Since three years he's been doing an annual Australian tour and has also played in New Zealand, Brazil and Mexico.
