CONVERSAS: Cinema Queer

Em 2021 o Porto Femme – Festival Internacional de Cinema chega à sua quarta edição e este ano conta com uma mostra de Cinema Queer, com curadoria de Alfredo Taunay, seguida de debate com a participação de Ana Lucia. Ambos são investigadores inseridos nos Estudos Queer.
A conversa acontece no dia 01 de outubro, às 17hs, no auditório da Reitoria da Universidade do Porto.

Alfredo Taunay é investigador bolseiro da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa e ao Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico do Maranhão – FAPEMA – vinculado ao LabCom da Universidade da Beira Interior onde frequenta o Doutoramento em Media Artes com um tópico de estudos relacionado ao Cinema Queer, com ênfase na obra do cineasta brasileiro Karim Ainouz.

Ana Lucia é investigadora do Centro de Estudos Sociais – CES – da Universidade de Coimbra onde frequenta o doutoramento em Estudos Feministas com um tópico de estudo relacionado com as políticas de regulação de sexo (pessoas trans e mulheres com hiperandrogenia) no desporto de competição.

TALKS: Queer Cinema

In 2021, Porto Femme – International Film Festival reaches its fourth edition and this year it will feature a Queer Cinema exhibition, curated by Alfredo Taunay, followed by a debate with the participation of Ana Lucia. Both are Queer Studies researchers. The conversation takes place on October 1st, at 5 pm, in the auditorium of the Rectory of the University of Porto

Alfredo Taunay is a researcher with a grant from the Foundation for the Support of Research and Scientific and Technological Development of Maranhão – FAPEMA – linked to the LabCom of the University of Beira Interior, where he attends a PhD in Media Arts with a topic of studies related to Queer Cinema, with an emphasis on work by Brazilian filmmaker Karim Ainouz.

Ana Lucia is a researcher at the Center for Social Studies – CES – of the University of Coimbra where she is studying for a PhD in Feminist Studies with a topic of study related to sex regulation policies (trans people and women with hyperandrogenia) in competitive sport.
