“D’Takito JamDuo” is formed by Sergio Escalera from Bolivia (piano/melodica) and Gervasio Tarragona from Uruguay (clarinet/sax). Together they explore South-American rhythms such as tango, milonga, zamba, candombe, as well as fusion styles with jazz, Arabic and Kurdish among other musical languages. Recent finalists of the worldwide Piazzolla music competition 2021, they share a one-time concert in Porto this autumn at Casa da Horta.
