Do you know Rene Bastijans?
Rene coaches startups and entrepreneurs and helps them overcome their struggles and accelerate their progress towards their goals. Rene regularly mentors early and later-stage startups participating in several Acceleration programmes. Prior to moving from London in August 2015, Rene was responsible for the Future Technologies team, the corporate R&D team of Pearson, the largest education company in the world, where he introduced entrepreneurial thinking and fast prototyping to the business units across the globe.
The “Running Lean Experiments” workshop will provide the bootcamp participants with a solid foundation for understanding and validating the business models of their projects. They will learn to practically apply Lean Startup principles and some of its tools to their own projects. Specifically, the participants will learn how to:
Capture the entire business model for their project
Design and run experiments that will help them validate their projects’ business model
Formulate the hypotheses underpinning their business models
Identify the riskiest parts of their business models
Select the best method for testing these riskiest parts (MVPs)
Engage with prospective customers to uncover their motivations, aspirations and struggles
Make more informed decisions about the direction they want to take their projects in, based on the insights gained through fast experimentation.
In addition to the above, the Startup Nano participants will learn new skills and become more confident in their abilities as entrepreneurs.
This is an event for all the community (startups, researchers, students, companies): we're waiting for your participation.
