***EVENTO ONLINE** Liberdades é um programa que salta de um desafio, num momento temporal onde muitos de nós se esquecem daquilo que é a Liberdade e dos seus limites, do que isso implica afinal em todas as nossas vidas e momentos. O 25 de Abril de 1974 é a data mais recente da História de Portugal, da mais recente Liberdade do nosso País, mas, porque o conceito é muito mais lato, decidimos assim fazer uma ponte e uma fusão a vários níveis. Se por um lado temos os incontornáveis “E Depois do Adeus”, ou “Pedra Filosofal”, também pelo Mundo teremos um “Bella Ciao”, ou um “Blowing In The Wind”. Fundimos assim vários autores, de Zeca Afonso, Paulo de Carvalho, Manuel Freire, Bob Dylan, John Lennon ou Bob Marley, entre outros. Todos aqui reunidos nas suas visões sobre da Liberdade, ou das várias Liberdades, afinal. As orquestrações para este programa vem de vários orquestradores seleccionados, de outras tantos Países como o Reino Unido, Itália, Estados Unidos da América, Alemanha, ou Islândia. Mantendo o Jazz como linguagem Universal e de fundo, vamos poder escutar a leitura de cada um deles sobre os temas musicais selecionados, não deixando de respeitar aquilo que são. Um desafio enorme, mantendo todas as Liberdades artísticas. Para dar forma a toda esta fusão Jazz-Liberdade, não fosse o Jazz per si também isso, juntamos duas vozes nacionais: se Ana Laíns não necessita de grandes apresentações, e dará voz aqueles que são os temas nacionais, já a emergente, Ana “Cherry” Caldeira presta a sua voz aos temas internacionais. Os duetos são, claro, inevitáveis, e marcarão também este programa. Liberdades! "Liberdades is a program that jumps out of a challenge, at a time when many of us forget what Freedom is and its limits, what it implies in all our lives and moments. The 25th of April 1974 is the most recent date in the History of Portugal, of the most recent Freedom of our Country, but, because the concept is much broader, we decided to make a bridge and a merger at various levels. If, on the one hand, we have the compelling "E Depois do Adeus", or "Pedra Filosofal", we will also have a "Bella Ciao" or a "Blowing In The Wind" around the world. We have merged several authors, from Zeca Afonso, Paulo de Carvalho, Manuel Freire, Bob Dylan, John Lennon or Bob Marley, among others. All gathered here in their views on Freedom, or the various Freedoms, after all. The orchestrations for this program come from several selected orchestrators, from as many other countries as the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States of America, Germany, or Iceland. Keeping Jazz as a Universal and background language, we will be able to listen to the reading of each one of them on the selected musical themes, while respecting what they are. A huge challenge, maintaining all artistic freedoms. In order to give shape to all this Jazz-Liberdade fusion, if Jazz itself were not that, we joined two national voices: if Ana Laíns does not need big presentations, and she will give voice to those that are national themes, already the emerging one, Ana “ Cherry ”Caldeira gives its voice to international themes. Duets are, of course, inevitable, and will also mark this program. Liberdades!
