Neste regresso tão aguardado às nossas salas preferidas, as Femme Sessions regressam ao Maus Hábitos no âmbito da rúbrica Cinema à Mesa, e voltam a exibir em tela cinema feito por mulheres!

Para esta 37ª sessão convidamos-vos a juntarem-se a nós para assistir a duas curtas-metragens que fizeram parte da Competição Internacional da 3ª edição do Porto Femme - Festival Internacional de Cinema, e que exploram, por entre conversas, sincronizações e desejos, a sexualidade feminina.

> MADRINHAS: HISTÓRIAS DE VAGINISMO

Sinopse:
O vaginismo é uma condição em que as contracções involuntárias dos músculos da vagina tornam a penetração impossível. Tem sido considerado um problema psicológico sem tratamento específico, mas as protagonistas desta carência provam que estas teorias estão erradas com as suas histórias de superação do vaginismo com fisioterapia. Diana, Iraida e Jacqueline começam a dar forma a um projecto artístico que querem exibir em breve. Montse começou há anos atrás a organizar uma associação. Todas elas querem que o vaginismo deixe de ser invisível, e para isso têm de lhe dar um nome e contá-lo. Porque, como eles bem sabem, o que não tem nome não existe.

Sinopse
Em 2048, quando o sexo masculino está próximo da extinção, quatro mulheres aguardam que os seus ciclos menstruais se sincronizem. Todas querem ser mães e só pode haver um doador. Ao amanhecer, o doador aparece-lhes finalmente à porta. Durante o jantar, sofre um acidente e parece estar morto.

In this long-awaited return to our favourite theatres, the Femme Sessions return to Maus Hábitos as part of the Cinema at the Table section, and once again highlight cinema made by women!
For this 37th session, we invite you to join us to watch two short films that were part of the International Competition of the 3rd edition of Porto Femme - International Film Festival, and that explore, through conversations, synchronizations and desires, female sexuality.

> GODMOTHERS: VAGINISMUS STORIES

Synopsis:
Vaginismus is a condition in which involuntary contractions of muscles in the vagina makes penetration impossible. It has been considered a psychological problem without specific treatment but the protagonists of this short film prove these theories wrong with their stories of overcoming vaginismus with physiotherapy. Diana, Iraida and Jacqueline begin to shape an artistic project that they want to exhibit soon. Montse began years ago to organize an association. All of them want vaginismus to stop being invisible, and for that they have to name it and tell it. Because as they well know, what has no name does not exist.

Synopsis 
In 2084, when the male sex is near extinction, four women wait for their menstrual cycles to synchronize. They all want to become mothers and there can only be one donor. When the day comes, the donor finally appears at their doorstep. During dinner he suffers an accident and seems to be dead.
