Para se inscrever na conferência, por favor siga as instruções que constam na ficha de inscrição--> https://museumdigitalcultures.weebly.com/inscricoes.html ̧̃: ́ Num tempo em que se amplia e aprofunda o interesse pelo impacto das tecnologias da informação na sociedade contemporânea, a Conferência Internacional sobre Arte, Museus e Culturas Digitais pretende constituir um espaço de debate sobre questões e projetos atuais, numa área de cruzamento entre as práticas artísticas e a esfera institucional, com particular foco nos museus de arte. O principal objetivo deste encontro é, assim, debater o modo como as tecnologias digitais têm contribuído para a criação de novos territórios e motivado diferentes inovações na produção artística, nas práticas curatoriais e nos espaços museológicos. Por outro lado, e considerando que os sistemas tecnológicos são também uma construção social e cultural, procura-se investigar em que circunstâncias a arte contemporânea e os museus têm formulado novos desafios, abrindo caminho para desenvolvimentos científicos. Neste sentido, a conferência visa reunir perspetivas artísticas, críticas e científicas diversificadas, dando visibilidade a trabalhos de investigação recentes ou em curso, em vários países e contextos. Esta conferência é uma colaboração entre o maat — Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia e o Instituto de História da Arte (Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa), no âmbito do cluster Arte, Museus e Culturas Digitais. The participation in the conference, as speaker or audience, requires previous registration.To register for the conference, please follow the instructions on the registration form --> https://museumdigitalcultures.weebly.com/inscricoes.html : 9 At a time of greater and ever deeper interest in the impact of information technologies on contemporary society, the International Conference on Art, Museums and Digital Cultures aims to provide a space for the discussion of current issues and projects relating to the crossover between artistic practices and the institutional sphere, with a particular focus on art museums. The main objective is therefore to discuss the way in which digital technologies have contributed to the creation of new territories and stimulated different innovations in artistic production, curatorial practices and museum spaces. Furthermore, considering that technological systems are also a social and cultural construct, an attempt will be made to investigate the circumstances under which contemporary art and museums have formulated new challenges and paved the way for new scientific developments. The conference will thus bring together a range of artistic, critical and scientific perspectives, affording visibility to recent or ongoing research works in various countries and cultural contexts. This conference is a collaboration between maat — Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology and the Institute of Art History (School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa), under the scope of its Art, Museums and Digital Cultures cluster.
