Músico e compositor de origem moçambicana, radicado em Portugal, Fidu Fernandes tem uma vasta carreira internacional ao lado de grandes nomes nacionais e internacionais, passando pelo blues , jazz, fusão , chilljazz e músicas do mundo.

.A musician and composer of Mozambican origin, based in Portugal, Fidu Fernandes has a vast international career alongside great national and international names, including blues, jazz, fusion, chilljazz and world music.

Jean-Marc Charmier, Licenciado pela Universidade de Evora em ” Jazz performance” , músico formado nos “Conservatoire National de Musique ” de Clermont-Ferrand e Vichy (France) em Formação musical, Análise, Composição, trompete e piano. Em paralelo, estuda Jazz e música improvisada com o pianista Henry Bruserio (Lyon), o flautista Jack Labrunie (Brive) e colabora com a Escola de Jazz de Montpellier.
Integrado em concertos e digressões com várias bandas : “Jazz Fancy”, “Karolus” e da banda francesa ” Baby Boum ” que obteve o ” Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros ” e ” Choc du Monde de la Musique ” (Revista Monde de la Musique).
Compositor da música original do espectáculo teatral “Doberman” (Rouen) com a encenação do Chileno Mauricio Celedon, director da “Compagnie théâtre Del Silencio”.
Realizou numerosos Concertos e espectáculos em Portugal (música improvisada, música Jazz, música do mundo) com Fernando Tordo, Rui Veloso, Jorge Palma, Paulo Gonzo e Laurent Filipe e lecciona no JBJazz e no Conservatório de Dança, Arte Dramática e Música de Lisboa.
Co-compositor e trompetista no CD da banda Jazz Imi Kollektief ” Snug as a gun “, que foi considerado o 2º melhor disco de Jazz 2017 em Portugal (Revista Jazz.pt). ” The opening “Prof Boum boum” by the trumpeter is a bright and bouncy think slightly reminiscent of some of Louis Sclavis’s folcklore imaginaire themes” referido no livro The Penguin Guide of Jazz Recordings, Ninth Edition. Em junho de 2013 concertos na ” Università di Roma Tor Vergata : Two lands, One voice” .

ean-Marc Charmier, Licensed by the University of Evora in "Jazz performance", musician trained in the "Conservatoire National de Musique" of Clermont-Ferrand and Vichy (France) in Musical formation, Analysis, Composition, trumpet and piano. In parallel, he studies jazz and improvised music with pianist Henry Bruserio (Lyon), flutist Jack Labrunie (Brive) and collaborates with the Montpellier Jazz School.
Integrated in concerts and tours with several bands: "Jazz Fancy", "Karolus" and the French band "Baby Boum" who obtained the "Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles Cros" and "Choc du Monde de la Musique" (Revista Monde de la Musique).
Composer of the original music of the theater show “Doberman” (Rouen) with the staging of Chilean Mauricio Celedon, director of “Compagnie théâtre Del Silencio”.
