Micro-histórias construídas em torno do imaginário ligado ao elemento água e às alterações climáticas. Água-plástica, a poética da água face à desregulação. Três universos, três abordagens e o convite à circulação. Fragmentos, pontas soltas, proximidade e a água reflectida em vários estados e emoções. Água clara, água primordial, água paradoxal. Água violenta, lenta, escurecida. Subterrânea, movediça, amarga. Maciça, pesada, corrente, doce, pura... Água olho, água sangue, água leite. O corpo das lágrimas... No núcleo do projecto, o conceito de transdisciplinaridade. Um diálogo intenso entre a dança e o teatro, com forte apelo aos contributos de outros campos da criação: poesia, artes plásticas, música, vídeo. Diálogo a várias vozes e uma proposta singular de teatro dança. A abordagem poética dos universos dramatúrgicos, o carácter intensamente físico das propostas e a força das componentes plástica e musical são traços fundamentais do projecto. A circulação dos projectos é uma das outras marcas do projecto, sendo exemplar a sua capacidade de aliar descentralização e internacionalização. Fora de Portugal, Circolando já foi acolhida em Espanha, França, Bélgica, Itália, Holanda, Reino Unido, Alemanha, Áustria, Polónia, Eslovénia, Finlândia, Marrocos, Brasil, Argentina, Bolívia, Panamá, Equador, Coreia do Sul e China. Vem reunindo críticas muito positivas, alargando o reconhecimento e visibilidade do projecto. The body of tears... biography_CIRCOLLANDO Under artistic direction of André Braga and Cláudia Figueiredo, Circolando exists since 1999. At the core of the project, the concept of transdisciplinarity. An intense dialogue between dance and theatre, with strong appeal to the contributions of other fields of creation: poetry, plastic arts, music, video. Dialogue with several voices and a singular proposal of dance theatre. The poetic approach of the dramaturgical universes, the intensely physical character of the proposals and the strength of the plastic and musical components are fundamental features of the project. The circulation of the projects is one of the other marks of the project, being exemplary its capacity to combine decentralisation and internationalisation. Outside Portugal, Circolando has already been hosted in Spain, France, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, Finland, Morocco, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Panama, Ecuador, South Korea and China. It has been attracting very positive criticism, broadening the recognition and visibility of the project. The many entities of recognised merit that have been co-producing and supporting us are undoubtedly revealing this fact.
