1) Re-memories

Disidentes by Milla Films & Colectivo Vlopcinema

Documentary series that records part of the resistance processes after October 2019 in Chile. Dissidents, are the voices of those who fought from the Plaza de la Dignidad to change the inequality of an economic model and a patriarchal system that decays under a revolt.

Amerika by Colectivo Los Ingravidos

A Kafkian vision of the New World. The arrival of Karl Rossman to the contemporary Babylon under the spell of the paranoid avant-garde. Kinetic coexistence of the archaic forms in dissolution.

Vals lunar by Colectivo Los Ingravidos

This is part of our series about the moon goddess Coyolxauhqui (the lunar deity in Aztec cosmology).

Colectivo Los Ingrávidos (Tehuacán, Mexico) arises from the need to dismantle the audiovisual grammar that the aesthetic-television-cinematic corporativism has used and uses to effectively guarantee the diffusion of an audiovisual ideology by means of which a continuous social and perceptive control is maintained over the majority of the population. Politically charged yet involved with the sublime Los Ingrávidos inhabit Poetic realms that few dare to tread.

2) Out of order

Truly Chilean Landscape by Samuel Cortés

Virtual puzzle created from strokes and gradients in Photoshop; .gif available on giphy.com; and VHS-C recordings digitally mixed. Proposes a funny and abstract look on the true relationship between pollution and Chilean landscape, made from low-quality and free-access resources, as a digital povera, in defense of mixed, precarious, environmental languages.

Sin Señal by Paulo Correa Vargas

Sin Señal; is an video work that ventures into the experimental use of new media and its continuous dialectic of culture and simulation in relation to the use and abuse of techno-expressive resources and low-definition aesthetics as part of a discourse that puts in between said the massive use of high definition and the era of technology and information.

Transformation by Antoni Hidalgo

Progress based on advances in technology has a downside: its dependence on human effort. In addition, it is possible that they also need the mass media and to break the resistance of the people.

Disease of Manifestation by Tzu-An Wu

Tzu-An Wu makes experimental films. He likes to manipulate heterogeneous images, sounds, and texts, to question the construction of the narrative and the selfhood. In recent years he works mainly with Super 8 and 16mm film techniques, while he is also interested in the intersection of both analog and digital techniques of visual reproduction.

Benito Moreno, permanent passanger by Matias A. Donoso

3) LaborBerlin

LaborBerlin e.V is a nonprofit, independent film collective, open to every individual interested in artist-run initiatives and especially in analogue film practice, which embraces a more experimental and D.I.Y., craft approach to film production. The Lab is a meeting point of exchange and engagement of ideas and experiences around filmic creation.

_galore by Bernd Lützeler

The streetscapes of contemporary Indian metros are largely dominated by products. The typical local shop can be described as a windowless, rectangular box. Stepping into such a shop can be like entering a new world: Filled with products galore up to the ceiling. The product itself serves as the interior design. Shopping galore. Products galore. Profits galore.

Resistance by Laurence Favre

Resistance is a series of visual and sound impressions of a melting glacier. Beyond its majestic appearance sporadic elements reveal its fragility. Objects regurgitated through the melt witness the passing presence of mankind, leaving traces and scars. Never ending sounds of collapsing ice blocks under the weight of stones continuously reveal the symptoms of an evident decrease. This landscape that at first seemed motionless appears to be permanently changing. And yet in tension this magnificent and frightening body of ice and stones stands, impressive, resisting.

Out in the desert by Natalia Fentisova

A wondering in the desert, a physical and a psychological journey, discovering the self, bringing to the transformation of the inner and the outer state.

1536 Units by Jan Rehwinkel

In this camera-less film I work on serial drawings and their relation to time. While I work on the color layers of the film and being dedicated to the single frame, I get detached from the medium film temporarily. For the framework respectively the structuring of the moving images there are the speed of projection by 24 frames a second and the sound. By accelerating and decelerating the sound which is made of samples an open space with time is created. There is resulting an abstract narrative.

Bilderbuch by Luisa Greenfield

The 18th century illustrated chronicle Bilderbuch für Kinder, encouraged children to cut out the book's images, to handle and rearrange them, in order to better understand them. Once cut out they became scrap, waste—ripe for re appropriation.

Yong Bu Fang Chi - Never give up by Deborah S. Phillips

My former next door neighbour, Samer, was trained as a translator & interpreter for Arabic / Chinese & reverse & would like to wrok as such. He is now in training to get qualifications accepted in Germany.

Future, a Greek-Argentinian Film by Melina Pafundi

What comes from the high seas to the shores could be plastic, radioactivity or remains. One night, a woman became stranded in the Mediterranean. She has brought evidence from her journey, and a certain cryptically survival message. Although, the tone of the statement she has made cannot be translated.
