PT Como fazemos música juntos? Como criamos hoje em dia, e expandimos as nossas linguagens? Como voltamos a explorar o significado de ser artista, a sua relação com a sociedade e os seus objetivos, num mundo em crise? A experiência People tem sido um encontro transformador para todos os que nele participam, e o filme, contando a história do ritual que foi, pretende reconstruí-lo. Durante uma semana em Berlim, 200 artistas de todo o mundo foram convidados a criar nova música colaborativamente. Livres de expectativas, construíram uma experiência em vários espaços dos lendários estúdios Funkhouse, que abriram ao público no final da semana. As 5000 pessoas que visitaram os estúdios no Sábado e Domingo, puderam ver 200 performances únicas, movimentando-se entre espaços às escuras, sem saber o que iriam encontrar quando as luzes se acenderam. How do we create nowadays, and expand our languages? How do we re-explore the meaning of being an artist, its relationship to society and its goals, in a world in crisis? The People experience has been a life-changing gathering for all the individuals who participated, and the film aims to reconstruct that by telling the story of the ritual it was. Over one week in Berlin, 200 artists from around the world were invited to create new music based on collaborations. Free from expectations, they built an experience across a multitude of spaces in the legendary Funkhaus studios, and opened it to an audience at the end of the week. The 5000 people that visited the studios on Saturday and Sunday, rotated along the spaces in the dark, without knowing what they’d find when the lights came on. This session takes place at Casa das Artes at 6pm. (Sunday, 27th of September) This screening is part a series of screenings by Canal180 with Petites Planètes in Portugal.
