O mundo das artes é habitualmente visto enquanto terreno sem fronteiras. No campo artístico, valoriza-se por excelência aquilo que é único, dá-se voz ao diferente, ao que desafia, ao que questiona. Mas que peso poderá ter, nesta mesma esfera de liberdade e fluidez, um sotaque, um tom de pele ou a forma de um corpo?
Se, por um lado, reconhecemos no TODOS o papel fundamental da arte na integração e aproximação de culturas, que barreiras poderão persistir, em Portugal, para quem tenta construir uma carreira no espetáculo? Serão naturais estas fronteiras, ou antes algo a combater? Para discutir estas questões, reunimos um painel forte e diverso numa sala fresca onde se pretende que partamos para um fim de semana divertido e luminoso.
The arts' world is usually perceived as a land without borders. In the artistic field, what is unique is valued par excellence, a voice is given to the different, to the challenger, to the questioner. In this sense, in what way may an accent, a skin tone or the shape of a body affect the artist's path within this sphere of freedom and fluidity?
If, on the one hand, we, in TODOS, recognize art by its essential goal in integrating and approximating cultures, what barriers may persist, in Portugal, for those trying to build a career in the arts? Are these still-existing boundaries natural, or is it something we should fight? To discuss these issues, we gathered a strong and diverse panel, where sharing will be the departure for a fun and bright weekend.
