▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ◾AMEN 2021 w/ Fixate (UK) & Coco Bryce (NL) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Two years after the 2019 edition, Amen 2021 comes in full force on the 20th of November, celebrating breakbeat culture across two different stages. The place chosen was Ministerium, one of our favorite clubs right in center Lisbon, by the river. For this edition we carefully chose two producers and dj’s with a genius and unique take on drum’n’bass, half step and contemporary jungle music; Coco Bryce and Fixate, a strong debut on Portuguese dance floors by these two producers. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ◾Fixate (UK) Handpicked by DBridge for his seminal Exit Records, Fixate is an eclectic producer, mixing genres with flawless accuracy under the 170 BPM umbrella. His take on Double 99’s “Ripgroove”” expertly dropped by Sherelle on her “LDN: Bass and Percs Special” Boiler Room set, is a true affirmation of what this badman can produce. Also check out his latest “Confusion” E.P. on Exit Records. ◾Coco Bryce (NL) Coco Bryce is an unavoidable name in the Jungle scene, being is Myor imprint one of the most respectable labels in the “breakbeat” game. Fusing oldschool rave vibes with cutting edge breaks his productions led him to releases on PRSPCT Recordings, Lobster Theremin, Rupture London, Critical Music naming just a few that this prolific artist has released. He’s been on fire in 2021, and we can not be more excited to have him as a part of our headliners this year! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Accompanying the two headliners on the main floor are some of the best portuguese DJ’s; Incendiario, one of the faces of Skalator Music who has been getting attention with his post-autonomic sound; House/Techno portuguese legend Photonz will do a special set for Amen; Neurotoxin are one of the most exciting portuguese dnb production duo to break out overseas; and to top things off Amen’s label will do a special showcase packed with unreleased dubs and true breakbeat attitude. On the second floor we also celebrate the 10th birthday of Mais Baixo’s crew/project with their full soundsystem! Still sticking to their core values, Mais Baixo is becoming one of the oldest, if not the oldest active dubstep/bass crews in Portugal. Expect nothing else than straight bass music vibes from Senhor 67, 404 Not Found, Lotus, Nocturnals and a special guest DJ from Belgium: Datra.
