Concerto Dün be Dün (Musica Classica Turca) com Jantar Turco

️ Dün Be Dün was created after the fortunate meeting of Turkish singer Özüm Asilkazanci Ak and Portuguese musician Nuno Silva. After realizing their common interests in Turkish classical and folk music, they decided to give life to some of their favorite compositions. Performing as a duo, their repertoire ranges from 18th and 19th-century vocal compositions to contemporary folk songs from various regions of Turkey. In a very intimate and minimalist setting, they invite you to share a selection of musical treasures from distant places of the world.

️Turkish cuisine is one of the ancient and richest ones. Despite being largely known with limited perception of Turkish food overseas, the cuisine has a wide variety of regional differences. Turkish cuisine has become a special harmony of the fresh Mediterranean and oriental and spicy eastern cookery. It’s never stopped evolving from the time of Ottomans with its continuation in the cuisines of Greece, the Balkans and the parts of the Caucasus and the Middle East.
 
️In this special Turkish Dinner, we are going to warm up with a delicious soup made with red lentils that is nutritious and flavoursome. The main course is a roasted vegetable kebab accompanied by Pilaf and complemented by our favourite salad called “Kısır”. To finish we are having a traditional dessert, candied pumpkin with walnuts. 

The complete menu includes:
Lentil soup (Mercimek Çorbası)
Pilaf with orzo (Şehriyeli Pilav)
Roasted Vegetable Kebab (Sebze kebabı)
“Kısır” salad with Quinoa
Pumpkin dessert with Walnuts (Kabak tatlısı)

️A gastronomia Turca pode ser descrita como uma fusão e refinamento das cozinhas da Ásia Central, do Médio Oriente e dos Balcãs. Nunca parou de evoluir após o período do Império Otomano, convertendo-se numa harmoniosa mistura entre os sabores frescos do mediterrâneo e a panóplia de especiarias típicas do Médio Oriente.

️Neste Jantar Turco vamos ter uma sopa de lentilhas vermelhas para nos aquecer, nutritiva e cheia de sabor. O prato principal é kebab de vegetais no forno acompanhado com pilaf e salada especial nossa favorita de sempre, “kısır”! Para terminar teremos uma sobremesa tradicional, doce de abóbora com nozes.
