As a premier professional dancer in India, he is established in New Delhi India. He had the privilege of getting trained by trainers from different parts of the World. He is well trained in different styles of dance forms like Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Salsa, Bollywood, Chow, Kathak, Latin, to name a few. Currently, Sumit is the artistic director of DANCE ANTRA, a school of performing arts. It has 6 branches in Delhi-NCR. During his dancing journey, he performed in around 300 shows in India and abroad. He was honoured to judge around 60 Dance competitions. He has successfully organized about 40 workshops in 18 schools where he has trained students of all age groups as a Guest Teacher. His work is not restricted to educational institutions alone, but spreads to Government institutions as well, where he was endowed responsibilities of different kinds and he have been appreciated by the government for organising not less than 70 events.
