“Vivemos numa cultura de autenticidade que, de muitas maneiras, é obcecada pela veracidade e sinceridade. (...) A atual cultura da veracidade, esclarecida autenticidade e integridade radical - ou o desejo por ela, ou a expectativa dela -  modificam-se ocasionalmente a velocidade diabólica.

Focalizando no desejo contemporâneo pela autenticidade, o objeto artístico pretende questionar e "desconstruir" através de uma estratégia de reversão bastante transparente o tópico dos ideais da originalidade e, abertamente imitar e até mesmo plagiar - sarcasticamente ou não - imagens de antepassados ​​artísticos ou da cultura de massas."
