We are enthused to feature Nettie Burnett at theLAB's next art opening on March 21st from 7pm onwards!
Nettie is an interdisciplinary artist who has been developing her body of work since 1974. The evolution and maturation of this art runs parallel to the septuagenarian character of its creator - free and without limitations. Nettie's work needs not be measured by complex judgement systems or sophisticated analyses, before running through the physical, Planet Earthly realm of human appreciation.
Nettie studied art in the UK, teaches professionally in collaboration with universities in the UK and Porto, where she also creates and displays new works in an old Port Cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia. Her work is featured in public and private collections in Portugal, Great Britain, France, Italy, Singapore, Australia and the USA.
We are looking forward to having her with us for the next 2 months. Stop by, bring some friends, have a drink and buy some wine ;)
