A mini festival for mini people (and their parents)! Vist babyravelisboa.com for more info and to buy tickets! F.A.Q. WHAT IS A BABY RAVE? A “baby rave” is a daytime electronic dance party for parents and their young children (under 8 years of age). Adults can drink, dance and teach their young ones the ways of Peace, Love, Unity and Respect! **This is NOT a children’s “disco”!** In fact, it is a “micro-festival” designed by former and current party people who now have young kids and want to share all the healthy fun of letting loose to good dance music with their little ones. It has the look and feel of a late night party, but safe for babies and early enough to get them to bed on time! WHO CAN ATTEND? Adult caretakers (18+) and their children under 8 years old. (Note: if babies have older siblings over the age of 8, these siblings are welcome to attend; however, please no young adults/teenagers). Friends and family welcome. Admittance with children only. All groups purchasing pre-sale tickets must be bought together as a group. Adults remain responsible for their children at all times. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Adult pre-sale tickets are offered at a reduced price of 10€ per adult. Or you can purchase tickets at the door for 15€. Children are FREE. However, if you are buying pre-sale tickets, please be sure to request your baby’s free ticket, since they will count against the capacity of the venue. WHAT IF I BUY A TICKET BUT CAN NO LONGER ATTEND? We are unable to refund pre-sale tickets; however it is anticipated that this event will sell out quickly, so try to get your tickets in advance. Note that if you end up with spare tickets, you can try and re-sell them using our Facebook page. WHAT WILL IT BE LIKE? Music will be played indoors, but Village Underground has a large outdoor space, so little ones can catch a calm moment if needed away from the dance floor (and enjoy the beautiful afternoon sun!). The floor inside will be carpeted. Expect balloons, glow sticks and other kid-friendly decor. How loud will it be? Music will be played at a lower level than it would be at an adults-only event. You are welcome to bring ear protectors (e.g., headphones) for your children, but it is not necessary. How many people will be there? Capacity is up to 500 people, but it is up to you to show up and make it happen! Please check out our FB event page spread the word. How dark is it/are there flashing lights? The dance floor will feature club lighting (dim) and moving lights. For this reason, children should be advised not to run. Will there be activities? Toys, costumes and play equipment will be provided on site by A.P.F. Lisboa. CAN I TAKE PHOTOS? Guests are asked to only take pictures of their own children and those they have explicit permission to photograph. An event photographer may take general photos, but will always ask the permission of accompanying adults before photographing children. ANYTHING ELSE?
