Quatro Solos de Mónica Calle/Four solo pieces by Mónica Calle Rua de Sentido Único texto a partir de vários autores/ text based upon several authors criação, interpretação, cenografia e desenho de: luz/creation, performance, set and light design: Mónica Calle fotografia/ photography: Alípio Padilha vídeo/video Marcelo Pereira Este é o Meu Corpo [This Is My Body] brings together four crucial solo pieces by Mónica Calle, created across a time expanse of 28 years. With this action, the creator and performer revisits, questions and updates a body of work, looking into its future. A Virgem Doida (1992), with a text by Rimbaud, was the first solo piece by Mónica Calle and Casa Conveniente, the structure she had founded, the inaugural spark of a close, intimate theatre. Rua de Sentido Único (2002), a monologue that is also a turning point, marked the start of a still ongoing study on the place and role of the viewer. In Os Meus Sentimentos (2013), Calle reads the words of Dulce Maria Cardoso, inhabiting them as a second skin in a rich stream-of-consciousness solo. Henry Miller’s writing provides the raw materials for Rosa Crucificação (2018), creating a time and a place of liturgy and communion, where our fears, desires and memories confront one another. dur. aprox./playing time 1:00 M/18 anos/Ages 18 and up assistência de encenação/ direction assistance: José Miguel Vitorino direção de produção/ general production: Sérgio Azevedo produção executiva/ executive production: Inês Mateus coprodução/ co-produced by: Casa Conveniente, Zona Não Vigiada, São Luiz Teatro Municipal, Teatro Nacional São João apoio/ support: Mise en Scène Club preço dos bilhetes/ticket prices 10,00 €
