"Uma Tarde no Mundo é uma secção pensada para acontecer durante uma tarde em dois espaços expositivos de Lisboa, com espetáculos e performances em diálogo com os seus contextos espaciais, institucionais e museográficos."

 Sinopse:
Ao Escapar o meu cadáver é narrado pelo fantasma de um Phyllium (inseto folha) que está preso ao seu cadáver, que se encontra nos arquivos do Museu de Zoologia da Universidade de Cambridge (UK). Quando finalmente consegue separar-se do seu cadáver, passa a assombrar uma rapariga que visita os arquivos do museu e tenta manipulá-la de forma a que ela viaje até às plantas onde sempre viveu.

Sinopse:
Sequências Narrativas Completas é um espetáculo concebido pelo artista João Sousa Cardoso, a partir da obra homónima do escritor e pintor Álvaro Lapa, numa construção – diferente a cada representação – entre o teatro e a conferência. No cruzamento entre as artes performativas e o labor do pensamento tornado visível, o espetáculo cruza a dramatização do texto, o monólogo interior, o relato diarístico e o ensaio sobre a vida íntima, doméstica e pública portuguesas, no encalço da revolução e da democracia.

Synopsis:
Ao Escapar o meu cadáver is narrated by the ghost of a Phyllium (Leaf insect) that is attached to its corpse kept in the archives of the Zoology Museum at the University of Cambridge (UK). When it finally manages to separate itself from its corpse it attaches itself to a girl visiting the museum archives and tries to manipulate her so that she travels to the plants where it had lived in its lifetime.

This project developed from the quote by Archimedes, “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world”. Archimedes Lever Principle, Pf x Rf = Pa x Ra | Pf is the Potent Force, Rf is the Resistance Force, Pa is the Potent Arm, Ra is the Resistant Arm.

Synopsis:
Sequências Narrativas Completas is a show designed by artist João Sousa Cardoso based on the work of the same title by writer and painter Álvaro Lapa, in a construction between theater and conference - different with every new presentation. At the intersection between the performing arts and the labour of thought made visible, this show crosses the dramatization of the text and inner monologue with the diaristic account and the essay on the intimate, domestic and public life in Portugal in the wake of revolution and democracy.
