[PORTO] MANIFESTAÇÃO PACÍFICA - QUEREMOS BUSCA E SALVAMENTO NO MEDITERRÂNEO Nos últimos anos já morreram 17.000 pessoas na travessia do Mar Mediterrâneo. 17.000 pessoas no fundo do mar, porque a Europa não as quis salvar. Há poucos dias, o Parlamento Europeu votou sobre a criação de mecanismos de proteção de vidas no Mediterrâneo. Propôs-se um conjunto de medidas que visam a busca e o salvamento das pessoas que, há anos, arriscam a vida em busca de paz e segurança. As propostas foram chumbadas. A morte ganhou. MORREM MILHARES DE PESSOAS ÀS PORTAS DA EUROPA. NÃO ACEITAMOS A INDIFERENÇA. Todos juntos podemos ser a voz que fura o silêncio que cobre o Mediterrâneo de solidão e dar a mão a quem precisa desesperadamente de ajuda. Vamos ter a oportunidade de conhecer de perto o dilema de quem enfrenta a morte no Mediterrâneo. É uma questão humanitária e não partidária. TODOS À RUA A UMA SÓ VOZ! ___________ PEACEFUL PROTEST - WE WANT SEARCH AND RESCUE IN THE MEDITERRANEAN On the last years over 17.000 people died trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea. 17.000 people at the bottom of the sea, because Europe didn't want to save them. A few days ago, the European Parliament voted on the creation of protection mechanisms for human lives in the Mediterranean. A set of measures that target the search and rescue of people that, for years, have been risking their lives in pursuit of peace and safety was proposed. These proposals were denied. Death has won. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIE AT EUROPE'S DOORSTEP. WE DON'T ACCEPT INDIFFERENCE. Together we can be the voice that pierces the silence covering the Mediterranean of solitude and be the ones to hold hands with those who desperately need our help.
