[PT] Este mês, apresentamos o quarto ciclo de um programa da 2ª Edição do Porto Femme Festival Internacional de Cinema, que decorreu de 18 a 22 de Junho de 2019. Este programa inclui alguns dos filmes favoritos da equipa e outros de relevo por diversos fatores. O objetivo passa por apresentar uma mostra que seja representativa do programa exibido, assim como de perspetivas e géneros. Deste constam 4 curtas de ficção e 3 de animação que nos chegam de Portugal, Bélgica, China, Turquia e Espanha. As Porto Femme Sessions são ciclos temáticos nos quais o denominador comum é serem filmes realizados por mulheres. O objetivo é dar visibilidade ao trabalho da mulher no cinema, através da projeção das suas obras e, sempre que possível, da sua presença nas sessões, promovendo o encontro entre o público e as autoras. [EN] This month we present the 4th cycle of a program based on the 2nd Edition of the Porto Femme International Film Festival, which took place from June 18th to 22nd. This program includes some team favourite’s films and others highlighted by several factors. The purpose is to present a sample that is representative of the program presented, as well as of perspectives and genres. This includes 4 short fictions and 3 animation coming from Portugal, Belgium, China, Turkey and Spain. Porto Femme Sessions are thematic cycles in which the common denominator is films directed by women. The objective is to give visibility to the work of women in the film industry, through the projection of their works and, whenever possible, their presence in the sessions, promoting the encounter between the public and the authors. Não tem uma enumeração cronológica científica de todos os ícones femininos, mas mais uma inundação de imagens como a que experimentamos no nosso sono REM. Synopsis The movie FEMINAM, Latin for woman is an autonomous visual work by Marijke De Belie in which the artist plays with representations of women throughout the centuries. Still it has not become a scientifically chronological enumeration of all female icons but more a flood of images like the one we experience in our REM sleep. Desta forma, “Her Voice” ecoa a era #MeToo, em que vivemos agora. Em algum lugar entre o desesperado Boop-Oop-a-Doop de uma Betty Boop vintage e os experimentos cinematográficos de Maya Deren, “Her Voice” oferece um fluxo enigmático de consciência que resiste às expectativas narrativas convencionais. Synopsis Her Voice is a short experimental film where the role and the representation of female identity is addressed. In this way “Her Voice” echoes the #MeToo era, in which we live now.
