[PT] Este mês, apresentamos o segundo ciclo de um programa da 2ª Edição do Porto Femme Festival Internacional de Cinema, que decorreu de 18 a 22 de Junho de 2019. Este programa inclui alguns dos filmes favoritos da equipa e outros de relevo por diversos fatores. O objetivo passa por apresentar uma mostra que seja representativa do programa exibido, assim como de perspetivas e géneros. Deste constam 4 curtas de ficção que nos chegam dos EUA, Espanha, França e Tunísia. As Porto Femme Sessions são ciclos temáticos nos quais o denominador comum é serem filmes realizados por mulheres. O objetivo é dar visibilidade ao trabalho da mulher no cinema, através da projeção das suas obras e, sempre que possível, da sua presença nas sessões, promovendo o encontro entre o público e as autoras. [EN] This month we present the 2nd cycle of a program based on the 2nd Edition of the Porto Femme International Film Festival, which took place from June 18th to 22nd. This program includes some team favourite’s films and others highlighted by several factors. The purpose is to present a sample that is representative of the program presented, as well as of perspectives and genres. This includes 4 short fictions coming from the USA, Spain, France and Tunisia. Porto Femme Sessions are thematic cycles in which the common denominator is films directed by women. Quando um colega de trabalho a questiona sobre as suas pausas, Faryl cansada e frustrada explica que tem que “bombear os seus seios”. O cometário inocente foi relatado à chefe e Faryl vê-se com uma queixa de assédio sexual. Synopsis Faryl balances the status quo of working and parenting, her days revolving around her swelling breasts that she must empty every few hours. When a male co-worker nags her about her breaks, a tired and frustrated Faryl explains to him that she must “pump her breasts”. When this innocent comment makes its way back to her boss, Faryl is slapped with a sexual harassment complaint.
