Starting at Secret Garden LX and ending the night in Cais do Sodré @ Boteco da Dri with a special lineup: Alixr (ENG) Born in the heart of London, UK, Alixr began his journey into house and techno in 2007. Playing at some of London's respected, underground venues, he has kept his finger on the pulse of electronic music, drawing influence from multiple genres especially world music and tribal rhythms. Through traveling experiences, he has gained insight into different cultures and the evolution of music as a form of expression. Obsessed by textures and melodic journeys, his aim is to bring unifying experiences to the dance floor. With releases on Canadian label Wide Angle Recordings alongside artists such as Max Cooper and CID inc and on the Modmotif label from Paris, he has many releases coming this year. Barbo (SVN) Tin Barbo has been involved with playing different instruments for over 14 years, collaborated with important Slovene guitarists like Tadej Košir and Bor Zuljan before settling down in Lisbon as a harbor for musical journeys in 2009. The near-death experience in 2012 while surfing has sent him on a soundless odyssey into the void. Life pressed the Reset Button. Through that Barbo has found a new way of living, a mindful focus, dedication to his creations and manifestations of his dreams. The distinct Barbo sound evolved from tribe gatherings on the illustrious Lapa 14 rooftop, in the Portuguese capital, where till today African, Oriental, Tropical and World sounds are being curated. „Travel through sound, travel far enough and you meet yourself.“ ...there is still a seat on this mystic caravan, so come along stranger and join the Travels of Barbo... Indias Mokṣa (PT) Mokṣa refers to freedom from saṃsāra, the cycle of death and rebirth. In its epistemological and psychological senses, it means freedom from ignorance: self-realization, self-actualization and self-knowledge. The main goal, in Advaita, is to gain self-knowledge and complete understanding of the identity of Atman (the true self) and Brahman (the reality, the Cosmos). According to Advaita Vedanta, liberation can be achieved while living, and is called Jivanmukti. Gingaí (PT) Gingaí is a soulful force that celebrates the identity and diversity of folklores and cultures, it cultivates the roots of ethnic music by exploring organic and groovy sonic textures from the 7 continents. Rhythmed by earthy basslines, rattles and positive energy, his performances flood the dancefloor with a fusion of punchy beats and tribal elements: digital music with the refreshing presence of natural and elemental sounds, acoustic instruments and the anchoring touch of the human voice, in a sound journey around the world and beyond it. ChafiroDisko (PT/DE) Chafirodisko is a project based in Berlin, with Portuguese roots. His sets are mixed emotions for ravers that come together in the Form of house, Techno, hard drum, Disco and experimental.
