Talea Jacta meets Electric Moon | 20 Set | 10€ pré-venda & 12€ porta Talea Jacta, Porto's instrumental motorik duo, meet Electric Moon, the acid rock trio from germany and austria, met for the first time and coalesced to one entity in a common rhythm, back then in may 2018, at Sabotage in Lisboa. Luckily, there is a recording of it. In the meantime, the bands work on settting out for it's way to birth, this entity, whose parents are Talea Jacta and Electric Moon. This has been such a nice experience, that they decided to do it again, live at Sabotage Club in Lisboa, of course. Talea Jacta is a two piece band from Porto by guitarrist Pedro Pestana (10000 Russos, Tren Go! Sound System) and drummer and cymbal and gong smith João Pais Filipe (HHY & The Macumbas, Sektor 304, Montanha Magnética, Paisel). Their music combines Pais’ ethno-techno polyrhythms and Pestana’s guitar-driven martian soundscapes circularly and repetitively in long and extensive songs. The beginning of this beautiful friendship was in February 2016 when they got together for an improvised gig in Porto under the series of “unlikely duets” by Favela Discos. It went so well that they went recording in July at HertzControl. Over the last decade, they played many gigs, festivals and toured around through europe to spread their acidrocksound.
