LA SOMBRA DEL SUR
Espetáculo de flamenco envolvendo música árabe, hindu e jazz. Uma original viagem contando a história através do tempo, nas sombras, desde os ritmos indianos e marroquinos até à Andaluzia, no sul de Espanha.

Elementos como o xaile, leque, chapéu e cadeira, vistos nas sombras, deixam o espectador apaixonado pela estética, sensualidade e arte.

Nascida em Triana, um bairro emblemático de Sevilha, em Espanha, onde se respira Flamenco. Sua avó Carmen Ortega cantou fandangos e outras canções de flamenco com alma, plantando a semente da arte e paixão em sua casa, fazendo com que as futuras gerações seguissem os seus passos.
A sua mãe foi reconhecida enquanto dançarina ganhando vários prémios por dançar sevilhanas. Com tanta arte florescendo em sua casa, Teresa cresceu com grandes influências artísticas das mulheres de sua família.
Através das suas múltiplas viagens à Índia, teve aulas de Kathak, fundindo esse tipo de dança clássica com flamenco. Mais tarde, mudou-se para a Austrália, onde organizou oficinas de sevilhanas e colaborou com grupos como Kanela Art e Reflejos. Também fazendo performances a solo, fundindo música árabe, hindu e flamenca.
De regresso a Espanha, Teresa começa a desenvolver o seu show nas sombras que veio dar origem a "La Sombra del Sur". Em 2018 viaja para a América Latina apresentando o seu espetáculo, em cidades como Bogotá e Medellín - Colômbia, Cidade do México e Caribe.

Flamenco show dabbling in Arabic, Hindu and Jazz music. It shows a trip from the Indian and Moroccan rhythms, to the South of Spain, Andalucía.
An original journey telling the story through time, in the shadows, from the Indian and Moroccan rhythms to Andalusia in southern Spain.

Elements such as the shawl, fan, hat and chair, seen in the shadows, leave the viewer in love with aesthetics, sensuality and art.

Born in Triana, an emblematic neighbourhood of Seville, Spain, where they breathe Flamenco. Her grandmother Carmen Ortega sang fandangos and other soulful flamenco songs, planting the seed of art and passion in her home, that will have her future generations following in her footsteps.
Her mother was recognised as a dancer and won several prizes for dancing Sevillanas. With so much art flourishing in her home, Teresa grew up with great artistic influences from the women in her family.
Through her multiple trips to India, she took Kathak lessons, fusing this type of classic dance with flamenco. Later she moved to Australia where she organized Sevillanas workshops and collaborated with groups such as Kanela Art and Reflejos. Also doing solo performances, fusing Arabic, Hindu and Flamenco music.
On her return to Spain she begins to develop her show, in the shadows: "La Sombra del Sur". In 2018 she travelled to Latin America presenting her show on tour, in cities like Bogota and Medellin - Colombia, Mexico City and the Caribbean.
