180 Meets: Felipe Ríos Uma conversa sobre cinema independente Na próxima quinta-feira apresentamos um 180 MEETS especial, em parceria com o Porto Post Doc. Felipe Ríos, cineasta chileno com uma carreira de mais de 10 anos a trabalhar na intersecção entre o cinema e as artes visuais, estará na RAMPA a 27 de Junho para discutir o cinema independente e apresentar os seus novos projetos. Vamos exibir três episódios de Gabinete, a sua nova série documental sobre a arte contemporânea no Chile que apresenta 8 artistas visuais chilenos e explora a prática artística contemporânea desde o final dos anos 70 até hoje. Carolina Martínez, produtora e curadora da série, e também fundadora da Rotunda Magazine, irá também juntar-se à conversa. Felipe irá também apresentar The Man Of The Future, a sua primeira longa-metragem em estreia no Karlovy Vary International Film Festival na República Checa, e The Emancipating Opera, filme produzido para o pavilhão Chileno na La Biennale Di Venezia 2019. Felipe Ríos, a Chilean filmmaker with a career of over 10 years working at the intersection of cinema and the visual arts, will be joining us at RAMPA, on the 27th of June, to discuss independent filmmaking and his new projects. We will be screening three episodes of Gabinete, his new doc-series about contemporary art in Chile, which presents 8 Chilean visual artists to explore contemporary art practice from the late 70s until today. The conversation that follows will be joined by Carolina Martínez, curator and producer of the series, as well as founder of Rotunda Magazine. Felipe will also be discussing ‘The Man of the Future’, his debut feature film premiering at the 54th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic, and ‘The Emancipating Opera’, a film produced for the Chilean Pavilion at La Biennale Di Venezia 2019.
