PT_AS MULHERES NO MUNDO -  Sororidade entre festivais de cinema no feminino

Desde o início do nosso projecto que a partilha de perspectivas, olhares e lutas atravessa as nossas acções. Uma procura pela descoberta e a mostra do que Elas fazem, como olham, como comunicam, como é o que pensam. Exibirmos esse mundo tão múltiplo e diverso, de proveniências distintas, cada uma com a sua luta em mão, e todas unidas numa luta igual. Sororidade entre festivais de cinema no feminino.  Este é um ciclo que resulta de parcerias com outros festivais de cinema, que tal como o nosso, partilham esse desejo urgente de dar visibilidade às mulheres cineastas.
Nesta segunda edição do Porto Femme - Festival Internacional de Cinema no feminino daremos destaque a dois festivais nossos parceiros com o objectivo de dar a conhecer a sua curadoria, criando pontes e proximidades.


2.FEMCINE - Festival Cine de Mujeres

FEMCINE, o Festival de Cinema das Mulheres de Santiago, é o primeiro e único festival de cinema no Chile dedicado a celebrar, divulgar e homenagear filmes feitos por, para ou sobre mulheres. O festival foi lançado em 2010 por um grupo de mulheres associadas ao mundo audiovisual chileno, que acreditam que o cinema é uma ferramenta poderosa para a reflexão e o desenvolvimento social. O objetivo do FEMCINE sempre foi destacar os trabalhos das cineastas femininas e mostrar e valorizar as representações cinematográficas (feitas por homens ou mulheres) sobre temas comuns numa sociedade como a nossa, onde apesar do desenvolvimento tecnológico e económico, existem ainda muitos exemplos de desigualdade de gênero. O nosso objetivo é ser um espaço onde cineastas atuais e futuros possam encontrar inspiração, informações e contatos para criar redes que possam levar ao enriquecimento do nosso cinema.

EN_ WOMEN AROUND THE GLOBE - Sisterhood between women's film festivals

Since the beginning of our project, the sharing of perspectives, visions and fights has been present throughout our actions. The search and the discovery of what they do, how they perceive, how they communicate, how they think. A diverse and unique world, made of distinct origins, each with its own struggle, but united in an equal fight. Sorority among women’s film festivals. This cycle results from various partnerships with other film festivals, which, like ours, share the urgent desire to give visibility to women filmmakers.
In this second edition of Porto Femme - International Film Festival in the feminine, we will highlight two of our partner festivals, with the intent to present its curatorship, creating therefore bridges and neighborhoods.


2.FEMCINE - Festival Cine de Mujeres

FEMCINE, the Women's Film Festival of Santiago, is the first and only Chilean film festival dedicated to celebrating, publicising and honouring films made by, for or about women. The festival was launched in 2010 by a group of women associated with the Chilean audiovisual world, who believe that cinema is a powerful tool for reflection and social development. The aim of FEMCINE has always been to highlight the work of female filmmakers and to showcase and value the cinematographic representations (made by men or women) about common themes in a society such as ours, where despite technological and economic development, there are still many examples of gender inequality. Our goal is to be a space where current and future filmmakers can find inspiration, information and contacts to create networks that can lead to the enrichment of our cinema.
