Nos dias 29, 30 e 31 de Agosto a Praia de Mira vai tornar-se a capital do Drum & Bass ao receber alguns dos melhores artistas da cena nacional e internacional. Para além das atuações musicais, apostamos num conjunto de atividades complementares, como conferências sobre produção musical, workshops e a primeira edição do Concurso Nacional de DnB step. Nesta primeira edição, temos o privilégio de usufruir de um espaço único, com características excepcionais, que facilitam a proximidade entre as atividades oferecidas aos nossos festivaleiros. Deste modo, o palco principal ergue-se apenas a 75m da área de Camping, que se encontra apenas a 150m da praia. Para além do palco principal, que se destina a preencher as noites, dispomos ainda de dois palcos secundários, prontos para animar as tardes em vários espaços do festival. O Parque de Campismo tem uma área reservada apenas para o festival, atendendo à intenção de criarmos um ambiente mais familiar. Não vai faltar sombra, WIFI, vários pontos de eletricidade, WCs, balneários com água quente, churrasqueiras, mini-mercado, bar e uma zona de lazer. Existirá também uma zona de Street Food, com vários tipos de comida, não excluindo alimentação vegetarina/vegana. A ligação à região e suas tradições é também uma aposta do Konnections. Nesse sentido, iremos desenvolver duas atividades em parceria com a comunidade local. A primeira consiste em participar na reflorestação do Parque Florestal de Mira - por cada bilhete adquirido nesta e nas próximas edições do festival, uma árvore será plantada. Desta forma, ambicionamos ajudar na recuperação desta zona que sofreu um grande incêndio em outubro de 2017. Como segunda iniciativa, teremos a requalificação de um muro icónico do bairro dos pescadores da Praia de Mira, que acontecerá através de uma intervenção de arte urbana, a cargo de vários artistas convidados. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the 29th, 30th and 31st of August, the Praia de Mira will become the capital of the drum & dass when receiving some of the best artists in the national and international scene. In addition to the musical performances, we are committed to a number of complementary activities, such as seminars on music production, workshops and the first edition of the DnB Step Competition. In this first edition, we have the privilege of enjoying a unique space, with exceptional characteristics that facilitate the proximity between the activities offered to everyone that goes to the festival. The main stage will be only 75m from the Camping area and only 150m from the beach. Besides the main stage, which is intended to fill the nights, we also have two other stages, ready to liven up the afternoons in different areas of the festival. The campsite has an area reserved only for the festival with the intention of creating a more familiar environment. There will be plenty of shade, WIFI, various points of electricity, toilets, showers with hot water, BBQs, mini-market, bar and a leisure area. There will also be a Street Food area with various types of food with vegetarian/vegan options as well. The connection to the region and its traditions is also another focus of the festival. In this sense, we will develop two initiatives in partnership with the local community. The first initiative is to participate in the reforestation of Mira Forest Park - a tree will be planted for each festival ticket purchased. This way, we aim to help in the recovery of this zone that suffered a fire in October 2017. As a second initiative, we will be repainting an iconic wall of the fishermen's neighbourhood of Praia de Mira, which will happen through an intervention of urban art, which will be in charge of several artists.
