A Carpet & Snares Records, a Flur Discos e a Peekaboo Records juntaram-se para curar uma edição dedicada ao vinyl. Haverá uma feirinha de discos seleccionados por cada loja, DJ sets e um live act, num evento que quer juntar os aficionados dos formatos físicos da música e celebrá-la numa festa ao ar livre com acts escolhidos por três das melhores lojas de discos de Lisboa. This is a special edition of VHH ㋡ Village Happy Hours ㋡ every friday 18-23h!, Village Underground Lisboa's (VULX's) friday evenings. Carpet & Snares Records, Flur Discos and Peekaboo Records joined together to curate an edition dedicated to records. So, there will be a vinyl fair with selected records brought from each store, DJ sets and a live act, in a event that wants to join aficionados of physical music formats to celebrate music itself in an open-air party, with acts chosen by three of the best Lisbon's record shops. Line-up 18:00 from Carpet & Snares: Jorge Caiado & Miguel Melo (DJ sets) 20:00 from Flur: Vítor Rua (live act) 21:00 from Peekaboo Records: TROL2000 Carpet & Snares Records presents Jorge Caiado & Miguel Melo: Established in 2014, Carpet & Snares Records is a label and record store based in Lisbon and managed by Jorge Caiado. It is the result of a plural vision of house and techno, with a desire to develop and express that vision providing fans, artists and DJs with a physical space and an editorial platform. In the midst of a new wave of local producers, the shop has been instrumental in developing new talent like André Leiria and Berllioz, but also in creating synergies with established artists such as Steve O’Sullivan, S.Moreira, and Losoul. With their ambitions set on high, expect much more to come from one of the pillars of Lisbon’s underground scene. https://carpetandsnares.com/ Flur presents Vítor Rua: Known primarily as a virtuoso freeform guitarist, this time Vítor Rua presents a full synthesizer live set, something he never performed in public. Rua is a prolific and truly experimental composer and musician, having crossed and recrossed time and time again the boundaries between pop and avantgarde and kept a constant record of his creativity via countless home recordings. 40 years of private experimentation with synths come to light. https://www.flur.pt/ Peekaboo Records presents Trol2000: Peekaboo Records is much more than just a record store. Located in the heart of Lisbon city centre, Peekaboo is a small shop owned by Trol2000 - a local DJ and also an exceptionally friendly guy who’s ready to help you with new musical discoveries. The shop specialises in high-quality, rare and used vinyl, with a particular focus on disco, boogie, new wave, soul and world music.
