A Plataforma Archivo tem o prazer de apresentar a segunda edição do seminário "REENQUADRAR O ARQUIVO", que terá lugar no Centro Português de Fotografia (CPF), nos dias 14 e 15 de Junho. “REENQUADRAR O ARQUIVO: Imagem Contra Imagem” pretende dar continuidade à discussão iniciada no primeiro seminário (Imagem, Tempo, Memória, 2018), explorando as dinâmicas entre cultura visual, arquivo, memória, história e narrativa, com a colaboração de investigadores e artistas. Esta edição do seminário incidirá sobre o passado histórico português, através de uma aproximação ao imaginário imperial e eventos da ditadura e do contexto colonial.

Archivo Platform is pleased to present the second edition of the seminar “REFRAMING THE ARCHIVE”, that will take place at the Portuguese Centre of Photography (CPF), in June 14 and 15. “REFRAMING THE ARCHIVE: Image Counter Image” aims to continue the discussion initiated in the first seminar (Image, Time, Memory, 2018), delving into the dynamics between visual culture, archive, memory, history and narrative, through collaboration with researchers and visual artists. This edition of the seminar will focus on the Portuguese historical past by approaching the imperial imaginary through events of the dictatorship and the colonial context.
