Kris Skovmand’s music lies somewhere between folk, alternative and singer songwriter and is usually performed by him on a single acoustic guitar.
When he performs his focus is on giving an honest performance, being true to himself and connecting with the audience and the moment. He will often speak during performances about his family, his failures and share excitement about the things he loves.
During this event Kris will talk about his journey as a musician and will perform live.
ABOUT KRIS SKOVMAND
Kris is a Danish- American artist living in Lisbon with his wife and 4 young sons. In his creative life and career he has been involved with music, filmmaking, poetry, scriptwriting, comedy, illustration and drawing. He is constantly looking for new ways to express himself because he loves to create, especially in collaboration with other people.

The event was created in 2017 by Peter D Murphy - writer of Irish origins, currently living in Lisbon, author of The Last Weekend of the Summer and the Life & Times Trilogy (http://peterdmurphy.com/books/).
Paula Pascu - With a background in psychology and experience in business development, Paula nurtures a long-term passion for literature and cinema. She has organised over 50 cultural events in Lisbon over the past 2 years. Her favourite subjects of discussion are vampires and mafia movies.
Suresh Nampuri - in his dalliances with black holes and theatre, has wandered through various countries on multiple continents as an academic and director of plays and movies. He has finally chosen to settle down in leafy Lusitania where he has co-founded a creative collective, JÁ International Theatre
