Marcus Worgull continua a adorar a arte de fazer os traseiros mexer. Sim, DJ que é DJ gosta de fazer dançar e Marcus, embora um produtor exímio, não se esquece dos anos que passou a gastar o dinheiro do almoço em discos, procurando em caixas poeirentas. Membro do gang Innervisions, traz como cada um dos integrantes uma perspectiva única sobre o que é a sonoridade da editora. As suas influências de Hip Hop, Soul e Reggae fundem-se com a moderna música House, com Worgull a criar uma narrativa muito própria. Os sintetizadores fluem e serpenteiam, os apontamentos melódicos a sustentarem a história que nos apresenta, por entre misturas perfeitas que nos fazem ficar um bocadinho mais leves sobre o nosso conhecido chão de madeira. Desde miúda nestas coisas da música, Perel (ou Annegret Fiedler, como está na certidão de nascimento) tocava flauta e piano mas na verdade era cantar que a deliciava. Influenciada por nomes como Depeche Mode ou Eurhythmics, aliou-se ao House para a dupla como Klub.Mono mas fartou-se um bocado de ser o seu colega, homem, a ficar com os créditos do trabalho feito. Decidida a mudar isso, torna-se Perel e daí ao cair no radar de Tim Sweeney foi um instantinho. Com “Hermetica”, em 2018, edita o primeiro longa duração e logo na gigante DFA – e o álbum ganha remisturas, inclusive de Marcus Worgull seu companheiro nesta noite. Disco, House, Techno e Synthpop juntam-se para o som de Perel, que chega para um DJ set de estreia no Lux, pronta a abrir caminho e demonstrar porque é não já só uma aposta de futuro, mas sim uma certeza de presente. A member of the Innervisions gang, he brings his own unique perspective about what really is the label’s sound. Influenced by acts such as Depeche Mode or Eurhythmics, she allied that with House for the duo Klub.Mono but got tired her male partner got all the credit. Decided to change that, she became Perel and would soon fall into Tim Sweeney’s radar.
