"A Tamar Aphek é uma artista israelita com um gigantesco percurso dentro do rock alternativo - formou os lendários Carusella em 2007 - um dos rock duos mais aclamados de sempre, com quem fez digressões por todo o mundo e pisou palcos de festivais míticos como SXSW, DunaJam ou Fusion Festival; colabora frequentemente com Yonatan Gat (Monotonix). Tem uma enorme ligação a Portugal, tendo já actuado em festivais como Milhões de Festa, Barreiro Rocks ou Mucho Flow, e, até, gravado um dos seus discos, "Collision", nos portuenses Estúdios Sá da Bandeira - baterias gravadas por Igor Domingues dos Throes + The Shine e teclados por Yonatan Gat. Em 2016, as canções de Tamar foram banda sonora do filme "One Week and a Day" de Asaph Polonsky, que ganhou o Prémio da Fundação GAN no Festival de Cinema de Cannes, assim como sete prémios no Festival de Cinema de Jerusalém. Regressa assim, em Janeiro, para tocar temas de toda a sua carreira e apresentar exclusivamente algumas das canções que farão parte do seu próximo disco. One minute she’ll whisper in your ear and the other minute she will slam her ruthless guitar into your face. Tamar Aphek first came to prominence as the singer/guitar player of bands -“Carusella”, "Shoshana”, which were both known for turning every rock venue into a crime scene of volume, and ruthless energy. In her solo act Tamar is accompanied by a rock trio that flirts with Jazz and psychedelic sounds, and presents a shape-shifting collection of electric songs that carry raw intensity wrapped in a mesmerising performance. In 2016 Tamar’s songs were integrated into Asaph Polonsky’s feature “One week and a day” which won the Gan Foundation award at the Cannes film festival as well as 7 awards at the Jerusalem Film festival.
