Os bilhetes devem ser levantados à entrada no Teatro São Luiz. #GMFF2018 Programa 10 de dezembro – Teatro São Luiz 14:00 // Início da sessão com The Merger (99 min – filme com legendas em português) Um famoso ex-jogador de futebol é persuadido a treinar a equipa local na sua pequena cidade natal na Austrália. Para ultrapassar as dificuldades e trazer novo ânimo, o treinador decide recrutar refugiados para a equipa. Com resultados hilariantes, acaba por conduzir a sua comunidade numa jornada de mudança. Cómico e profundamente comovente, the Merger apresenta personagens adoráveis que conseguem trazer leveza a uma questão complexa. __________________________________________________ 10 de dezembro – Teatro São Luiz 18:00 // Abertura de Portas - Feira de artesanato e comida do mundo 19:00 // Início da Sessão com Walk on the Tight Rope (95 min – filme com legendas em inglês) Walk on the Tight Rope é um documentário alemão que oferece uma visão marcante do processo de pedido de asilo na Alemanha. Somos convidados a acompanhar a jornada de diferentes requerentes de asilo - do complexo sistema burocrático às dificuldades e ambiguidades morais sentidas por aqueles que tomam decisões que sabem ter um impacto profundo na vida destas pessoas. No final do filme, o espectador irá questionar as suas noções de perseguição, verdade, medo, asilo e até da natureza da compaixão. __________________________________________________ 18 de dezembro – Teatro São Luiz 18:00 // Abertura de Portas - Feira de artesanato e comida do mundo 19:00 // Início da Sessão com Delta, Back to Shores (75 min – filme com legendas em inglês) Deltas, Back to Shores retrata as jornadas de Ibrahim, um jovem senegalês que vive e trabalha de forma irregular em Marrocos; e Agostinho, um pescador português de 57 anos, que planeia emigrar para a Holanda devido às dificuldades económicas sentidas em Portugal. Os dois homens enfrentam decisões difíceis sobre qual o caminho a seguir, entre a casa e o desconhecido. O filme toca os muitos fatores emocionais e práticos que influenciam estas decisões. No final de cada documentário iremos promover uma conversa informal com migrantes e refugiados. Esta iniciativa foi organizada em Portugal pela OIM em parceria com a Câmara Municipal de Lisboa e o Alto Comissariado para as Migrações. A entrada é gratuita e sujeita à lotação do espaço. He recruits refugees to revive the team with hilarious results and ultimately takes his community on a journey of change. Hysterical and deeply moving, this film brings loveable characters and levity to a complex issue. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10th December –São Luiz Theatre 18:00 // Opening – Handcraft and Food fair 19:00 // Screening of Walk on the TightRope (95 min – film with English subtitles) A walk on the TightRope is a German documentary offering a remarkable insight into the asylum application process. We are invited to follow several asylum seekers as they navigate a complex bureaucratic system, while also witnessing the difficulties and moral ambiguities faced by those taking decisions they know will fundamentally impact the life of another person. By the end of the film you will have questioned your definition of persecution, truth, fear, asylum, and even the nature of compassion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18th December –São Luiz Theatre 18:00 // Opening – Handcraft and food fair 19:00 // Screening of Delta, Back to Shores (75 min – film with English subtitles) Deltas, Back to Shores follows Ibrahim, a young Senegalese man living and working illegally in Morocco; and Agostinho, a 57 year old Portuguese fisherman whose family is planning to migrate to the Netherlands because of difficult economic conditions. Both men face difficult decisions about what path they will take next, between home and the unknown, and the film effectively unpacks the many emotional and practical factors that complicate such decisions. An informal conversation with migrants and refugees will take place at the end of each documentary. This is an initiative organized in Portugal by IOM, in partnership with the Lisbon Municipality and the Portuguese High Commission for Migration. Free Entrance.
