Arroz Estúdios presents, Open Studios - 'til the first boat.

This is the first of our Open Studios series in which we'll be exhibiting artwork from our studios residents and friends of the space.

We will also be hosting food, live music, DJ's and we have invited the Escuro collective to play until the early hours.

Escuro or darkness can often be characterised as the despotic tones' textures associated to the music expressed by the medium of performance. The Escuro collective are a crew of techno Dj's based in Lisbon which embrace the darkness as a space of freedom and safety, going against the mythicised ideas about the unknown under the absence of light. The project has been running events in the last 2 years in Lisbon with a unique approach to the scene using many sensorial aspects of the live artistic experience.
