Cafe Ena

Verena Bachinger (a.k.a Cafe Ena) is a singer-songwriter by trade who draws inspiration from the places, people and experiences that have shaped her life and the things in the world that move us to speak out.

Originally from Austria and now based in Lisbon, Portugal, her journey as a songwriter began in 2014 in Jerusalem, during her years studying music and writing songs for what she thought at the time was just a hobby.

But after moving to Lisbon in 2016, she began to write in earnest, tapping into a deep well of inspiration from her past and present, honing her craft and developing her own style. Influenced by the sounds of Americana, Indie, classic Folk and artists like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Cat Power and Aimee Mann, she wrote dozens of songs and collaborated with various musicians.
