Born in Kenya brought up in the Netherlands, Black Omolo has been making music since she was 5 years old. She came in contact with several different music styles and has been working with different Sound Systems like King Shiloh, Black Board Jungle, Black Rose, King Alpha, Pacha Mama and many more.
It is not her first time in Lisbon, the Rototom launch party shared with Rubera Roots as back up band was a real success, massive loved her style and she loved Lisbon vibes. Her and the Rubera Roots family have given birth to a spiritual connection, a special bond that is revealed during their performances.
After 6 months she comes back, always with the beautiful company of Rubera Roots which is an African roots reggae band based in Lisbon, Portugal. They seek to spread Rastafari message, a message of positivity, the truth about African culture and ancestral livity with an original identity. They like to support conscious artists just like Black Omolo.
