Inauguração da Exposição “Os Defensores das Nossas Liberdades – 30 Anos do Prémio Sakharov” ENTRADA LIVRE Cocktail: Vinhos de Lisboa Desde 1988 que o Parlamento Europeu atribui o Prémio Sakharov para a Liberdade de Pensamento a pessoas e organizações que tenham dado um contributo excepcional para a luta em prol dos direitos humanos. Para assinalar o 30º aniversário do Prémio Sakharov, o Parlamento Europeu, juntamente com a Magnum Photos, apresenta um novo projecto documental com os perfis de quatro activistas dos direitos humanos de todo o mundo. To mark 30 years of the Sakharov Prize, the European Parliament, together with Magnum Photos, presents a new documentary project profiling four human rights activists from all over the world. This exhibition gives voice to those unknown heroes by plunging into their daily lives, seen through the different perspectives of Magnum photographers. “They Defend Our Freedoms – 30 Years of the Sakharov Prize” will formally open at 8:30 pm the 18th October and be on display throughout the whole festival, up until the 28th.
