Lovefingers é o chefe da editora ESP Institute. O Tiago gravou para lá em 2010 como Sea Power And Change. Nada disto é coisa nova. Lovefingers não chegou agora e uma boa parte da música que passa também não chegou agora. Discutível (não investigámos como deve ser), mas é provável que o seu nome tenha origem num edit que DJ Harvey meteu na série Black Cock em 1998 ("Love Finger"). E Depois de ver Harvey em LA começou a sua própria festa Blackdisco (depois também editora). Ainda o blog Lovefingers, alcance e culto global com uma música por dia. Chegou às 999, parou e começou a ESP Institute. Toda a bagagem baleárica, cósmica, house, disco, techno, tudo isso vem só depois de ter sido baterista numa banda punk e ter tocado noutra com Ariel Pink. Está junto com Heidi Lawden (casaram!). Não é o rapaz mais sortudo do mundo?

ESTA Heidi não tem paralelo. Quando se fixou em Londres, a sério, aos 16, começou a construir uma carreira sólida como DJ, promotora e manager. A relação afectiva com DJ Harvey é reforçada com trabalho de management por acreditar mesmo nele. Conseguiu-lhe a residência no Ministry Of Sound que propagou o seu nome até aos dias de hoje. Em seguida também trabalhou, por exemplo, com Masters At Work, Roger Sanchez e Trevor Jackson. O talento para a promoção e gestão de carreiras deixou Heidi DJ em pausa. Isso mudou em anos recentes. De Londres para Los Angeles os horizontes expandiram naturalmente. Heidi Lawden grava o show de rádio "Magic Roundabout" para a dublab, uma vez por mês, livre dos mandamentos da pista de dança. Mas quando desce ao clube, desce também a declaração de festa. Isto é, sobe o calor e faz sets de house com navegação livre entre clássicos e novos E nos novos, meu Deus, ela tem acesso prévio a tanta música inédita no mercado que se torna um disparate andar à procura de nomes para contar aos amigos. Porque acreditem: a vossa entrega ao chão vai ser recompensada com suor. E o suor vem dessa música. E essa música vem das mãos de Heidi.

Lovefingers
Lovefingers is the boss of ESP Institute. Tiago recorded to the label back in 2010 as Sea Power And Change. None of this is new business. Lovefingers isn't a newcomer and a great deal of the music he plays isn't new as well. It's debatable (we didn't fully check) but his name likely comes from an edit Harvey did for the Black Cock series in 1998 ("Love Finger"). And after attending one of Harvey's Sarcastic Disco parties in L.A. he started his own event Blackdisco (later also a label). On top of that, the Lovefingers blog had global reach. He posted one song every day and stopped after number 999 to start ESP Institute. But all his knowledge of balearic beats, cosmic, house, disco and techno came only after having played drums in a punk band and being part of another with Ariel Pink. Now he's together with Heidi Lawden (they married!). Isn't he the luckiest guy in the world?

THIS Heidi is unparalled. When she moved to London, at 16, she quickly started building a solid career as a DJ, promoter and manager. The romantic relationship with DJ Harvey is strengthened with management work because Heidi really believed in his dj skills. She got him the Ministry Of Sound residency Harvey became really famous for. In subsequent years she managed such names as Masters At Work, Roger Sanchez and Trevor Jackson. Her talent for promotion and career management meant a pause for Heidi DJ. That has changed in recent years. From London to L.A.the scope became naturally wider. Once a month, Heidi Lawden records the "Magic Roundabout" podcast for the dublab online radio platform, free of any dancefloor limitations. But when she steps down to the club, she brings with her a Declaration To Party. Meaning the heat rises and we get to be exposed to house sets with the old and the new. And regarding the new, my God, she has first-hand access to so much unreleased music that it's nonsense to try and figure out names to tell our friends. You better believe it: your commitment to the floor shall be rewarded with sweat. And sweat is brought by the music. And that music is played by Heidi.
