Saturday APRIL 14th @villapranaportimao Yoga Detox Day – A Spring Celebration! with Lara & Laura Dust yourself off from Winter and get ready for Spring! We offer you this special YOGA DETOX DAY to set goals for the new season. Spring is the time of year to come out of hibernation and step out into the sun to show a revived and refreshed you. Anything that ‘de-clutters’ your system can bring you to a state of purity, happiness, and balance. Therefore, a YOGA DETOX is much more than a detox. It’s a mindful reset. So be prepared for a joyful transformation! WHAT YOU RECEIVE We start the day with active and detoxifying yoga poses and breath work. After our vivid Vinyasa morning, we join Laura, our detox-chef for the day, for a healthy and tasty 3-course lunch. Then, while the body is digesting, we’ll have a yoga philosophy Satsang together to explore ways to de-clutter and refresh our minds. In the afternoon we’ll get back to our yoga mats for Partner Hatha yoga TWISTS and INVERSIONS, to help each other get deeper into the detox and we’ll finish our practice with relaxing and deep-cleansing Yin yoga to clear out our emotional HIPS. Finally, after all these liberating asanas, we’ll upload new energy through mantra and meditation. WHAT YOU TAKE HOME They say letting go is the hardest asana. We believe it’s also the most rewarding! The aim of this day is for you to learn and get an understanding of practical yoga “tools” to free yourself from old habits and replace them with better ones. Place an intention for yourself before the course so you can direct your energy to this specific theme in your life. Maybe write a food or mood diary in the week before the course and then bring your questions. Bring one big bottle of water with a bit of fresh lemon or in it. This bottle should be empty at the end of the day and your liver will be smiling because of the lemon :-) BETTER NOT: Eat 2 hours before the course starts. Your breakfast should be light and before 8am. JOIN: The Indian dinner afterward in Portimão! It’s optional and not included in the price.
