Imagine a view so plain that it is beautiful. Jamie sits at his bedroom window and watches other lives pass by. His inspiration to his writing, that, and his partner Alex. Having been together since childhood Alex and Jamie spent their entire lives together, happily married at eighteen. Now, after nearly seven years, things begin to change. Alex has become distant and Jamie fears that he may have to come to terms with reality.

'The Reality of It' is a play that explores the downfall of young love and how the threat of loneliness can change a person's perspective on life.

Imagina uma vista tão clara que é bonita. Jamie senta-se à janela do seu quarto e observa as outras vidas que passam lá fora. A sua inspiração para a escrita. Isso, e a sua parceira Alex. Juntos desde a infância, Alex e Jamie passaram toda a sua vida juntos, casados e felizes aos dezoito. Agora, quase sete anos depois, as coisas começam a mudar. Alex torna-se mais distante e Jamie teme que talvez tenha que enfrentar a realidade.

“The Reality of It” é uma peça que explora a queda do amor jovem e como a ameaça de solidão pode afetar as perspetivas que uma pessoa tem sobre a vida.
