Quando a sala de cinema do bairro onde o autor cresceu fecha, tem inicio uma viagem sentimental em busca de outros cinemas abandonados.
Muitos cinemas tradicionais, um tempo cheios de emoções e histórias, jazem agora vazios e nostalgicamente negligenciados, até novo aviso.
Esta série mostra uma seleção dessas salas através da Europa e dos Estados Unidos,retratadas com películas Polaroid 600 já expiradas (dai as cores frequentemente alteradas) entre 2006 e 2013. 
Estes lugares peculiares, depois de evocarem um sentimento de nostalgia, acabam por apelar a uma reflexão sobre a impermanência das coisas e a sua constante e einevitável mudança. Talvez um dia regressem com outro disfarce.

When the neighborhood cinema of the author’s youth shuts down, a sentimental journey in search of other abandoned movie theaters begins. 
Many traditional cinemas, once full of emotions and stories, now lay empty and nostalgically neglected, until further notice.

This series shows a selection of them, portrayed with expired Polaroid 600 films (hence the often altered colors), throughout Europe and United States between 2006 and 2013.
Those peculiar places, after evoking a feeling of nostalgia, end up calling for a reflection on the impermanence of things and their constant, unavoidable change. Maybe one day they will come back in a new disguise.
