Sense_tech makesense barcamp: technology for social impact

How can we use TECHNOLOGY to tackle the world most worrying problems?

SenseTech is a global mobilization to bridge the gap between tech experts, social entrepreneurs and citizens and discuss how exponential technologies (i.e. Artifical intelligence, Virtual Reality, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Robotics...) can help us solve social and environmental issues and achieve the UN Global Goals: http://tech.makesense.org/

Powered by MakeSense, our mission is to connect people across disciplines to spark real collaboration. Our events are open to techies, developers, scientists, social entrepreneurs, economists, philosophers, designers and anyone who wants to learn and share ideas about how disruptive technologies can best be used to reach the Global Goals.

After organizing two sensedrinks: one about blockchain and another about Artifiicial inteligence for Social Good, Makesense is organizing a BARCAMP on tech for good: How can we use TECHNOLOGY to accelerate world's most worrying problems?

For this first edition, we'll meet at Impact Hub Lisbon for a relaxed gathering and many ideas sharing! No boring presentations - just real connections with other individuals who share the same passion with different fields of expertise!

We have with us three speakers:

Catarina - Virtual reality for social good - HereNow media.
Jacques - Founder of Steemit
João Duarte - Artificial intelligence for social good

The speakers will make a small pitch of their presentation content: then you can choose the one you wan to join for breakout session. After this session with the speaker you chose, we will have a wrap up to gather all the three discussions and have some beers and a good talk! :)
